At Radford University, the safety and well being of our students, faculty, staff and visitors is always most important. With continual support from other departments, we are constantly working to keep the campus as safe and secure as possible. However, a truly safe campus can be achieved only through the cooperation of all who reside, work, study and visit our campus each day.

The Radford University Police Department strives to meet the needs of the University community using a community policing approach to crime prevention. The men and women of RUPD are committed to the highest standards of professionalism and this proactive approach is based on the premise that by being an interactive part of the community, we can provide the best possible policing services to everyone. Take a few minutes to "surf around" our website and make yourself familiar with some of the resources we have to offer.

This website is a part of our effort to ensure that this collaborative endeavor is effective. We hope that you will visit it often and use the information to help foster a safe environment for yourself and others here at Radford University. Remember, safety is a shared responsibility.
